I didn't put it down to luck. Try re-reading. Luck is involved, of course - it has to be when more people want tickets than there are tickets.
My default position is to explain, which is all I did - and as I said, I was guesssing - not one word of defence in there. It didn't work well and should have been better - I can't see them being able to get Ticketmaster to rejig their systems for a handful of tickets, but again that's a guess.
Don't know anyone that works in the TO any more - I just try to be sensible about it.

The bars in the ground are shut, so I'd assume the ones outside are too - I'm not sure how many people will be about. We'll be running to the pub.

I don’t have tickets but going to a pub near the Ground.
I was thinking of heading to the ground after the game, if all goes well, hoping there is a bit of a party atmosphere.
Anyone thinking of doing the same? Any concerns?

I have a single eligible client reference. I was unable to buy numerous seats that were still available because they were in a pod. It was nothing to do with luck, It was the way the system was inherently unfair. I logged on and under a fair system such as first come come served I would have been able to buy a ticket. As it was, someone who logged in long after me but in a ticket group of 2 could have bought tickets ahead of me. There will be many people at the game on Sunday who did nothing in order to obtain a ticket. They did not get a ticket in the ballot but because someone else in their group was lucky in the ballot they get a ticket and likewise today. They could be in a pub getting pissed all day and still end up with a ticket because someone else in their group was able to buy them a ticket ahead of people who had already logged in

Got sent them yesterday to the email address used when buying the ticket. Also got sent a link to them to the mobile no. I gave them.
